Rosebud Ave
Set on silty ground along the Naramata Bench, this landscape unfolds around a home of organic architecture, featuring wood and rock, surrounded by a cherry orchard. The house sits in levels on a slope, and the design responded with paths, steps, and a level terrace for raised garden beds, fruit trees, and berries. Rock terraces ease the grade and guard against erosion, while native plantings, seeded grasses, and wildflowers restore the surrounding slope. Around the house, xeriscape gardens bridge the wild and the intentional, weaving structure and bloom into the natural terrain.
